My child,
In the Bible, there's a part that talks about how Jesus took away all the bad stuff we do, even though He never did anything wrong Himself. It says this happened so that we could become good in God's eyes because of Jesus. We don't have to work for it or be super good ourselves - it's like a present we get just by believing in Jesus. This goodness doesn't just stay on the outside, it changes us deep down inside. It's like getting a brand-new heart and way of thinking. So, if we believe in Jesus, we can feel sure that we are good and right in God's eyes. This is explained in 2 Corinthians 5:21, 2 Peter 1:3–4, Ezekiel 36:26–27, and Hebrews 8:8–12 in the Bible.
Love,
Dad
